Half the Sky

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

Charity Registration No. 1127541

Ninety-five percent of the healthy children living in Chinese welfare institutions are little girls. The influx of healthy infant girls into social welfare institutions began in the 1980s when China introduced strict birth control policies in order to control its burgeoning population. Half the Sky was created in order to enrich the lives and enhance the prospects for orphaned children in China.

Half the Sky is a charity that establishes and operates infant nurture and preschool programs, provides personalized learning for older children and offers loving permanent family care, medical care and guidance for children with disabilities. Their goal is to ensure that every orphaned child has a caring adult in her life and a chance of a bright future.

Fanny has been raising funds for Half the Sky through her boxing and now from the kind support of those who follow her on her motorcycle expedition around the world. Please visit the following free site if you would like to donate to Fanny’s charity:

AUTISM RESEARCH TRUST

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

Charity Registration No. 1136737

The Autism Research Trust is a charity that raises funds to assist research conducted at Cambridge University in the UK into the causes of and interventions for autism spectrum conditions.

Autism is a condition that has no social, national or racial boundaries and affects approximately one in every hundred people on the planet.

Rupert’s son, Max suffers from autism and we hope that his “Round the World” motorcycle expedition will raise awareness to the great work Autism Research Trust is doing and help raise funds to allow them to continue doing so.  If you would like to donate any amount to this very worthwhile cause it is very easy to do so by going to the free site below:

Many many thanks to all our supporters and those who have so generously donated to Half the Sky or Autism Research Trust…

Best wishes,

Rupert & Fanny
